Direct Care Staff

Our work environment includes: * Relaxed atmosphere * On-the-job training* Casual work attire* Growth opportunities* Safe work environment Duties: -Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs - Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration- Implement care plans based on individual needs and goals- Monitor and document individual progress and behavior- Collaborate with case managers and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care- Perform housekeeping duties Education: -High School, Equivalent or must complete GED within 1 year of hire Experience: - Previous experience in a nursing home, hospice care, or home care setting is preferred - Familiarity with care plans and case management systems- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks- CPR / First aid and Level 1 Medical aid certification is a plus Other: -Valid Drivers License -Must pass Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) background screening We are seeking compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing quality care to persons with disabilities.
