OverviewThis position collaborates with the relationship team to provide Delaware fiduciary services to high-net-worth clients bringing a high level of subject matter expertise with a focus on relationship expansion and retention. Consults on estate and tax planning, wealth transfer, and asset management needs. Implements and fulfills the provisions of legal and estate planning documents. Collaborates with team to identify Delaware planning and revenue opportunities driven by client goals, needs, financial situations, and family dynamics. Demonstrates discretion and effective judgement in managing complex and sensitive relationships. Supports client service delivery and operational management in all assigned relationships. Provides mentoring and advice to fiduciary associates through a strong knowledge of fiduciary norms.ResponsibilitiesFiduciary Management - Administers complex personal trust relationships. Consults with team and clients to develop comprehensive, long-range fiduciary and estate plans. Ensure accounts comply with legal and regulatory guidelines as well as directives contained in Trust documents. Communicates clearly and effectively with grantors, beneficiaries, relationship team and other interested parties with respect to fiduciary decisions. Manages risk inherent to fiduciary accounts.Relationship Management - Drives ongoing client service to maintain strong relationships, expansion of High-Net-Worth services and revenue opportunities.Collaboration - Partners with other associates on administering client relationships, managing client communications, and service responsiveness. Coordinates aspects of service across team to ensure a satisfactory client experience. Facilitate a collaborative team approach to provide superior client service and support to the front office.Support Business Development - Promotes Delaware Trust offerings with existing clients and collaborates with wealth partners to grow relationships. Proactively develops centers of influence and professional networks across the marketplace.QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Trust Administration, Estate Planning, or Financial Planning OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Trust Administration, Estate Planning, or Financial PlanningLicense or Certification Type: Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) Required, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) RequiredSkill(s): High level of financial or fiduciary and estate planning knowledge., Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills., High level of discovery and interpretation skills., Demonstrated relationship management skills., Excellent communication skills., Demonstrated teamwork skills.Benefits are an integral part of total rewards and First Citizens Bank is committed to providing a competitive, thoughtfully designed and quality benefits program to meet the needs of our associates.
