Duties
Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans focusing on territory management and business development.
Identify new sales opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits.
Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze data, and forecast future performance.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, demonstrating strong negotiation skills.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support direct sales efforts.
Provide ongoing training and mentorship to inside and outside sales team members.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Upsell existing clients by introducing new products or services aligned with their needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales with a focus on territory management.
Strong management skills with previous experience leading a sales team or managing accounts.
Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to conduct product demos effectively and generate leads through cold calling or networking.
Knowledge of marketing strategies that support retail or technology sales environments.
Analysis skills to interpret data for strategic decision-making and territory planning.
Demonstrated success in upselling, direct sales, and developing new business opportunities.
