Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer Java Microservices to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Irving, TX (Hybrid).Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Java MicroservicesLocation (Remote / Hybrid / Onsite): Irving, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)Duration: 12 weeksJob Description / ResponsibilitiesSenior Role & Experience: Requires a heavy backend engineering background with 10 12 years of experience building scalable, distributed enterprise systems. Core Tech Stack: High proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot for designing, developing, and deploying robust microservices and RESTful APIs. Mandatory Kafka Expertise: Strong focus on event-driven architecture, requiring hands-on experience implementing Apache Kafka (producers/consumers) for real-time, asynchronous data processing. DevOps & CI/CD Integration: Responsibility for building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and optimizing system performance, with preferred exposure to cloud platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Agile Collaboration: Working within a cross-functional Agile/Scrum environment, participating in the full SDLC, and driving architecture best practices.
