This is an in-office position and is based in Warren, OH.OVERVIEWThe Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of the company’s marketing strategies to increase brand recognition and drive lead generation as well as leading the “quote to cash” process for the company’s full product portfolio. The role’s primary functions include leading the strategic and creative marketing teams toward the development of well-crafted and targeted messaging across all mediums and ensuring correct pricing strategies, robust sizing and estimating tools and proper project management methodologies are in place to deliver winning proposals that result in orders with predictable margins.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESSet and own the annual marketing plan and budget across brands, tied directly to sales priorities.Serve as the primary partner to sales leadership; joining pipeline reviews, understanding where deals stall, and directing marketing effort at those points.Own brand standards, positioning, and messaging for brands; act as final approver on anything externally visible.Write or direct the high-value content: positioning, key sales narratives, major campaign concepts, technical messaging.Manage all outside vendors and contractors; scoping work, controlling spend, and holding quality.Plan the trade show and event calendar across all brands and own the strategy for each.Report marketing’s contribution to the pipeline in terms leadership cares about.SUCCESS MEASURESSales leadership reports marketing is responsive and useful.Brands stay visually and verbally consistent.Budget is controlled and contractor spend scales sensibly with activity.A measurable, reliable flow of qualified leads reaches sales.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications Required5+ Years of Experience RequiredProven track record of building and managing strong collaborative relationshipsAbility to work across all levels of the organization in a team environmentEffectively handle high stress situationsExhibit strong leadership skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentDISCLAIMERThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
