Cybersecurity Engineer (Software Development Background)Company: Security IndustryLocation: Boca Raton, FL (3 days onsite)Type: 6 month contract to hire FTE convert rate 120-130k NotesNeeds to be someone who has an actual software development background more so than the traditional cyber security background.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, along with experience in DevOps and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.This role will play a key part in implementing security measures and maintaining the security of our digital infrastructure and applications.Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into software development workflows.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments a plus
