Team members join a mission-driven organization at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and innovation.Role Description The AI Full Stack Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Washington, DC or New York City Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications that power Unity Global Care’s AI-driven aging care platform. Day-to-day tasks include building and integrating front-end user interfaces, implementing back-end services and APIs, and collaborating with data science teams to deploy and optimize AI, machine learning, and predictive models. The engineer will participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and performance tuning to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. The role also involves working closely with product, design, and clinical stakeholders to translate business and client needs into technical features that enhance the aging care ecosystem.Qualifications Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).Back-End Web Development skills, with experience in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integrations.Software Development and Full-Stack Development experience across the entire application lifecycle, from design to deployment.Experience integrating AI, Machine Learning, or data-driven services into production web applications is highly beneficial.Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency with version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
