Overview: We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and customer-focused Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a key member of our dispensary, the Budtender will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience and providing expert guidance on our products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cannabis and its various strains, as well as excellent sales skills and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely and knowledgeable manner. - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings, including their effects, potency, and nutritional benefits. - Conduct product demonstrations and provide personalized recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs. - Manage cash handling and operate a point-of-sale system with accuracy and efficiency. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards. - Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction. - Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest cannabis products and trends. - Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns in a prompt and professional manner. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in a diverse range of languages. - Must be OMMA employee credentialed. - Prior experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the cannabis industry. - Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including their effects, potency, and nutritional benefits. - Basic math skills for managing cash and operating a point-of-sale system. - Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. - A clean and professional appearance at all times, in compliance with all health and safety standards. - A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
