Universal BankerThe Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by performing teller transactions, opening and maintaining consumer accounts, and identifying customer needs to recommend appropriate banking products and services. This position supports the bank's mission by delivering a consistent, relationship focused banking experience while adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.The Universal Banker is assigned to the Grand Ledge office as their home location and will float to other offices as business needs require.Essential Functions:Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.Requires the ability to handle cash, stand for extended periods, and engage with customers throughout the workday.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent, some additional education in banking and/or financial planning would be helpful.Skills: Strong communication and relationship building skills. Ability to balance transactional accuracy with sales and service conversations. Flexibility and teamwork mindset.
