Here, you will make an impact by:Developing and maturing 3M's global labor relations strategyLeading a network of global labor-relations experts to share practices and identify key issues and concernsDriving assessment of risk of labor- and employee-relations disruptionProviding governance of stakeholder communications regarding global labor relations issuesDeveloping and adapting global labor-relations tools, playbooks, and trainingLeading deep-dives on labor-adjacent processes for optimization opportunitiesRepresenting HR on cross-functional teams aligned to enterprise labor prioritiesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Ten (10) years of combined experience in human resources, labor relations, and/or labor & employment law, in a multinational private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in human resource management, or labor relations, or a law degreeGlobal labor relations or labor/employment law experienceProven ability to lead by influenceStrong collaboration skillsExcellent oral and written English communication skillsProcess orientationBias toward executionAdeptness in navigating ambiguityDemonstrated integrity and compliance mindsetWork location:3M Global Headquarters in St. Paul, MN (4 days in office)Travel: May include up to 20% domestic and/or international travelRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
