We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: Contracts Specialist Job Location: Washington, DCDuration: 6 MonthsHybrid remote (3 days onsite 2 days remote)Job Description & Responsibilities:Draft, negotiate, and execute a high volume of Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), SaaS agreements, Order Forms and other supplier purchase agreements.Own contracts from intake through execution, amendment, and completion, ensuring timely turnaround and policy compliance.Apply existing procurement policies, templates, and contracting guidance to structure agreements appropriately.Partner with Category Managers, Legal, and suppliers to resolve issues and finalize agreements efficiently.Support contract amendments, renewals, and modifications, assessing impacts and implementing updates.Manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast paced environment.Skills:Managing multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast paced environment.Commercial negotiation within established risk and approval frameworks.Critical thinking and judgment with minimal supervision.Strong follow through to drive contracts to completion quickly.Clear written and verbal communication with suppliers and internal partners.Experience working in a contract or vendor management system.Required Qualifications:5 years of practical experience drafting and negotiating SOWs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, and supplier agreements.Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently and make sound contract decisions.Proven ability to manage work quickly and follow contracts through to completion.Comfortable working with established policies, guides, and standard templates.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Experience:Prior experience supporting procurement or category management teams.Familiarity with technology and professional services contracting.Experience working in a vendor or contract management system.
