Light Industrial - Shipping/Crater

Location:Reno, NV (100% onsite)Salary Range:$23.00 per hour on W2IntroductionThis position involves working under minimal supervision to ensure the safe and damage-free transportation of goods by building shipping skids and crates.Required Skills & QualificationsPrevious shipping experience.Able to read measuring tape and accurately cut lumber to size.Read B.O.M. for tagging required.Have or be immediately able to secure lift truck license through internal training.Prior work experience in the industry is preferred.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with different crating requirements for various shipping modes.Familiarity with operating wood cutting saws and power nailer/stapler.Experience in monitoring material consumption and advising on potential shortfalls.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAccurately and safely measure equipment and build skids for transportation of finished goods.Ensure proper tagging and product identification is affixed to equipment.Operate banding equipment to secure goods to shipping skid.Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly work environment.Safely move material using cranes, lift trucks, or handcart.Company Benefits & CultureOpportunities for internal training and skill development.Supportive and safety-focused work environment.Commitment to environmental responsibility.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
