The Assistant Chief Clinical Officer is a member of theadministrative team of our facility and as such participates indecision-making, policy determination, and planning and operations of thehospital. She/he has the responsibility for the management of all nursingpractices. The Assistant Chief Clinical Officer must have knowledge of currenttheoretical approaches to delivering nursing care and strategies for examiningand applying relevant concepts and current leadership, management, andperformance improvement concepts and the ability to participate in developingand implementing strategies to address opportunities for improving nursingcare. Job RequirementsGraduateof an accredited school of nursing.CurrentLouisiana Registered Nurse License in good standing.Demonstratedleadership and management ability with a minimum of three to five years'experience in nursing administration and/or as a Charge Nurse.Threeto five years of ICU experienceCardiac-VascularNursing Certification preferredExperiencewith Staffing/Scheduling of Nursing staff preferredExperiencewith Patient Assignments preferredAbleto communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Basiccomputer knowledge.
