Software Engineer

Seeking 3 Software Engineers to support the design, development, integration, and sustainment of secure, mission-critical software systems in Palm Bay, FL. This role supports embedded software, backend services, and web-based applications across classified programs. Engineers will develop and maintain software using C++, Python, JavaScript, and React, while supporting containerized development and deployment using Docker and DevOps best practices. Responsibilities include full lifecycle software development, troubleshooting and resolving defects, improving system performance, and producing technical documentation to support integration, testing, deployment, and long-term sustainment. This is a fully onsite role in a secure environment requiring an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.Required Skills & Experience• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree) • Hands-on software development experience with C++, Python, and/or JavaScript • Experience supporting embedded systems, backend services, and/or web-based applications • Experience working in Linux-based development environments • Familiarity with modern software development practices (version control, debugging, code reviews) • Ability to work independently on secure, mission-focused programsCompensation$50-60 per hour (hourly rate to be determined)Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
