Plaintiff's Personal Injury ParalegalSalary: $100,000We are seeking an experienced diligent plaintiff's personal injury and medical malpractice paralegal to join our team at a busy boutique practice in Midtown Manhattan. The qualified candidate will assist personal injury/medical malpractice attorneys and staff throughout cases, from intake through trial. Excellent office environment, competitive salary, bonus and benefits.Responsibilities:Draft and prepare litigation documents including Summons & Complaints, Answers, and Affirmations for attorney review and filing.Assist attorneys in drafting motions, affirmations, and legal correspondence.Ensure pleadings comply with applicable court rules, formatting requirements, and filing procedures.Prepare and draft Bills of Particulars.Draft and respond to discovery documents including Interrogatories and Discovery Demands.Organize, review, and produce documents responsive to discovery requests.Track discovery deadlines and ensure timely service of responses and demands.Coordinate with attorneys to gather necessary case information for discovery preparation.Review case files, medical records, accident reports, and insurance documentation to extract relevant information for pleadings and discovery responses.Communicate with clients to obtain factual details, injury updates, and supporting documentation.Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel regarding records and discovery matters.Appell & Parrinelli is a well-established law firm located in New York, NY, specializing in plaintiff's personal injury, medical malpractice and labor law cases.
