Baseball Instructor/Coach

Evolve Baseball Development is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Baseball Instructor / Performance Coach to join our growing team at our Syosset, Long Island facility. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, ideal for current coaches, former collegiate players, or baseball professionals looking to work with athletes ranging from youth players to high school and collegiate athletes. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about player development, committed to continued learning, and excited to be part of an multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, strength coaches, and sports performance professionals. Qualifications Collegiate baseball playing experience or previous baseball coaching or training experience preferred but not required. Strong understanding of baseball mechanics, skill development, and athlete progression Experience with or interest in baseball technology such as Rapsodo, biomechanics assessments, motion capture, and performance testing is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with athletes of various ages and skill levels Positive attitude, strong work ethic, team and commitment to professional growth What We Offer Flexible part-time scheduling Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding sports performance program Access to advanced baseball technology and performance testing tools, including Rapsodo and biomechanics assessments Collaborative environment alongside sports physical therapists and performance specialists Continuing education support for the right candidate, including: Baseball biomechanics certifications Performance and player development certifications Other baseball-specific continuing education opportunities Responsibilities Conduct private baseball instruction sessions and small group training Lead team training sessions and development programs Teach and reinforce proper throwing, hitting, fielding, and baseball movement mechanics Assist with player evaluations, biomechanical assessments, and performance testing Utilize technology and objective data to help guide player development Collaborate with physical therapists and performance staff to support athlete development and injury prevention Track athlete progress and provide feedback to players and families when appropriate Maintain a professional, energetic, and athlete-centered training environment About Evolve Baseball development Evolve Baseball Development is a baseball/softball training center built within a facility that houses Evolve PT & Performance as well as a Parisi Speed School. The multidisciplinary team of Physical Therapists, Performance Coaches and Baseball Instructors collaborate to provide the most comprehensive baseball development program on Long Island. The team brings sports science, biomechanics and high level instruction to facilitate the growth and development of our athletes.
