Our customers range from family-owned businesses to large publicly held organizations all of whom utilize Advantive to improve their business.This role is within our Professional Services organization and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of engagements utilizing the Advantive Distribution & EComm solutions, along with revenue and cost forecasting and attainment, account relationship management, as well as people management within the practices.The ideal candidate should have a proven portfolio management skills across an enterprise of products. Your background experience should include implementation consulting along with revenue forecasting and management skills The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to converse at all levels of our customer base.The Primary Objectives Of This Role AreBest in class delivery - consistent and engaged management in the delivery of associated practicesServices business - focus on the business of professional services with attention to profitability, revenue generation, and accurate forecastingCustomer satisfaction - ensuring the projects under your direction meet and exceed customer expectationsEmployee engagement - manage, develop, and grow the professional services team that directly report into this roleCustomer focus - build relationships with key Advantive Distribution customersSkills And RequirementsOwnership of portfolio governance, and working with key stakeholdersRevenue and margin tracking, forecasting, and attainment for portfolio projectsPeople manager - People management aspects for assigned team Core utilization for assigned teamCustomer satisfaction for projects in the manufacturing practiceManage the delivery of project plans, including resources, schedules, milestones, and budgetsUnderstand contractual obligations outlined in the statement of work to ensure effective and timely scope management and staffingLead a rigorous process of inspection of the portfolio of engagements to accurately track project status, quality, issues, and task estimates to completionOperational excellence in Project Reviews, Project Reporting as well as support of PMO requirements in project deliveryAssess and mitigate project riskAttend to effective recovery of Red Projects in a hands-on fashion and by working directly with project teams and clientsDrive pull through services revenue post the initial saleOwnership of initiatives and programs to continuously develop the assigned team and services business inclusive of knowledge management and reuseRelationship building with supporting teams such as sales, finance, product management, and product developmentAbility to travel up to 25% to client eventsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Project Management, Analytics or a related field plus 10 years directly related experienceA minimum 5 years of experience in consulting and technical delivery of software services for external customers experience; Preferred areas of focus are Manufacturing, Distribution, and Quality ControlA minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or senior positionA minimum 5 years of experience in P&L managementPreferred Qualifications: (Includes Minimum)Experience in portfolio management including program development and strategic planningExperience in managing multiple internal and external projects and initiativesExperience implementing and measuring standards and structures to support portfolio development and executionAdditional Skills, Knowledge & AbilitiesDemonstrated understanding and proven track record of managing team utilization to meet budget requirementsSolid understanding of Professional Services implementation methodologiesStrong professional consulting skills (i.e. negotiation, client relationship management, scope management)Ability to leverage internal tools and policies for optimal P&L managementEffective verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct presentations and facilitate client meetings, excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of MS Office, Smartsheets, and NetSuite OpenAirDemonstrated leadership attributes such as critical and strategic thinking, understanding, and executing organizational goals, fostering positive attitude in the team and coaching project resources to deliveryStrong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skillsAbility to work with virtual teams, work in a fast-paced team environment, adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude, effectively manage multiple responsibilities, and be a results-oriented self-starter requiring minimal supervisionCompliance with company and department policies including but not limited to accurate, timely and complete data tracking in Advantive’s system(s) of record, adherence to IT information security and HR policies
