Teaching Assistant Do you have a passion for making a difference in the life of a child? Par Excellence STEM Academy is looking for teaching assistants to work with kindergarten through 6th grade students one on one and in small group settings. Teacher’s Aide Duties and Responsibilities Assists with implementing weekly staff morale activities Assists with implementing schoolwide behavior and social-emotional programming. Collaborates with classroom teachers, intervention specialists, support staff, instructional leads, administration, and other school staff to develop and maintain a school culture and climate that maximizes growth of every individual. Implements student support in one-on-one, small group, general education classroom, and special education classroom settings Fosters a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school climate conducive to student growth that is consistent with the school’s mission and holds students to high expectations. Provides reading, math, and behavior support and tutoring Provides classroom accommodations according to student IEPs, 504 plans, and Functional Behavior Plans.
