CNC Machinist / Shop Foreman (Hands-On Leadership Role)

Role Description
This position is a hands-on senior CNC machinist role with leadership responsibility in a small manufacturing shop. The role combines daily machine operation with production leadership and workflow coordination, oversight and direction to CNC Operators. This is a full-time, on-site and day shift role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating HAAS CNC machines, producing quality parts, inspecting and assembling components, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. In addition, this role supports production planning, workflow coordination, and task delegation to maintain steady production flow. This is not an administrative-only position; hands-on machining and part production are an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience with CNC machinery (CAM programming experience a plus)
Ability to create manufacturing operations from solid part models
Strong knowledge of complex CNC setups and troubleshooting
Excellent visualization skills with the ability to produce complete components from models
Proven ability to lead by example while remaining directly involved in machining and production
Experience guiding and supporting CNC Operators to maintain production flow
Ability to inspect and assemble machined components
Strong computer skills required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to follow all manufacturing and quality procedures
Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate directions clearly and effectively
Flexibility in working hours as needed to meet production deadlines
Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work area
High school diploma or technical degree required
Compensation
Pay (DOE): $70,000 – $90,000 annually, plus bonus
