District Sales Manager

OverviewThe District Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales execution within a designated geographic area. This role involves leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. The District Sales Manager develops and implements strategic sales plans, fosters strong relationships with key customers, and analyzes market trends to identify new opportunities. This position requires a results-oriented leader with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, and the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team toward achieving both individual and organizational goals.CORE RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve district targets and increase market share.Team Leadership: Recruit, train, on-board and manage a high-performing salesProvide coaching and mentorship to enhance team performance and professionalPerformance Monitoring: Analyze sales data and metrics to track performance and identify areas forSet performance goals and regularly evaluate teamCustomer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers andAddress customer inquiries and resolve issues to enhance satisfaction andMarket Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitiveAdjust sales strategies based on market insights and customerReporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to seniorCommunicate performance insights and recommendations for strategicCollaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Solutions, Corporate Accounts, Solutions, Vertical Management, BDM Team, Training and Product Development teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.Participate in cross-functional meetings to support organizationalBudget Management: Manage district sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximizeTraining and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing development programs for the salesCompliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations in all sales activities. These include but are not limited to CRM compliance, Pipeline Management, Activity Management and Expense Protocols.Co-Travel Coach and Develop: Must travel with every Account Manager once a quarter for a minimum of three days in succession.One-on-ones: Meet with all Account ManagersPipeline Meetings: Meet with Account Managers regularly to coachTeam Calls: Facilitate Team Calls with a minimum monthlyQBRs: Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with Account Managers and Key CustomersSolutions: Drive Solutions adoption and expand customer share through SolutionQualifications, Skills & AbilitiesBachelor’s degree strongly5+ years of experience in SalesProven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenueStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse salesProficiency in CRM software and sales analyticsDemonstrated computerDemonstrated presentationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multipleExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex informationProficiency in project management tools andHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and emotionalIndustry client relations experience stronglyMust have a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance coverage, and access to aA flexible work schedule and occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel are expected, up to 70%.Pay Starting at: $115,000Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus.
