Accounting Clerk

DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk in Middlesex County, NJ. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, data entry and more. If you have 1+ years of accounting experience and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you!Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.- Code invoices and accounts appropriately for accurate financial reporting.- Manage vendor communications to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships.- Maintain and update weekly Excel logs to track financial activities.- Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing reports and verifying account balances.Requirements- 1+ years of experience in an accounting related field.- Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for maintaining logs and financial records.- Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
