Operations and Inventory Manager
The Operations & Inventory Manager at Farmhouse Pottery will play a pivotal role in optimizing the supply chain and ensuring the efficient flow of products from supplier to customers. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management and operational efficiency, ensuring that the warehouse and production teams are equipped to meet the needs of our growing business.Key Responsibilities include:Inventory ManagementPractice inventory management strategies to ensure accurate stock levels that meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventoryOversee inventory control procedures and accurate recording of all inventory transactionsConduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracyMonitor KPIs and analytics related to inventory turnover, stock levels, and product performanceOperational EfficiencyStreamline operations to improve productivity and minimize costsCollaborate with production and warehouse staff to implement best practices in operational workflowAnalyze operational data and make recommendations for continuous improvementCoordinate with the procurement team to maintain optimal levels of raw materials and finished goodsTeam LeadershipHire, train, and develop staff within the operations, warehouse and inventory teamsFoster a culture of teamwork, safety, and quality among the operations staffThis should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties and responsibilities.
