As a key member of our transportation team, the OTR Truck Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient logistics.Duties and Responsibilities Driving and Delivery: Operate and drive tractor-trailers along designated routes, focusing on the East Coast region. Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods to various destinations. Adhere to company-specific delivery schedules and customer requirements.Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle. Report any mechanical issues promptly and coordinate with the maintenance department for necessary repairs.Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, including driving hours, miles, and cargo information. Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.Communication: Collaborate effectively with driver advocates, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any issues that may arise. Utilize communication devices responsibly to stay connected with the team.Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and clients during pickups and deliveries.
