SummaryAs an Assembler Master, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient assembly of industrial equipment according to specifications and quality standards. You will lead a team of assemblers, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize productivity and quality outcomes. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Performs with no supervision.Principle Responsibilities and DutiesFollows all HSE guidelinesChecks alignment using visual inspection and/or laser alignment toolsUtilizes knowledge of different types of major componentsBends tubing 1/4” to 1” carbon or stainless steelReads and understands complex blueprints and bills of materialsLeads team in developing improved work processes for the departmentDevelops and trains entry, intermediate and senior level assemblersUsing blueprints be able to lay a skid out hanging majors, valves, instruments and spoolsBe able to perform a flow check using the PD&Is to insure that the skid is completeBe able to run a pressure testReads and understands complex blueprints and bills of materialsLeads team in developing improved work processes for the departmentAbility to take the lead on pneumatic and hydrotestParticipate in group discussions and meetingsMaintains equipment and clean work areasParticipates in continuous improvement activitiesAbility to read General Arrangements and P&ID drawingsAbility to structural and socket weldAbility to fill in for the Lead Assembler QualificationsPreferred EducationHigh school diplomaVocational or technical education a plusRequired Experience & Skills5+ Years of related experienceSome travel may be requiredMust be willing to work in a fast-paced environmentMust meet OSHA regulationsForklift certification requiredAbility to communicate in EnglishPhysical RequirementsRequires employee to stand for at least 90% of the timeRequires employee to sit for at least 10% of the timeRequires employee to frequently inspect equipment, climb stairs or ladders and must be able to maintain balance on stairs or ladders without assistance.Must be able to communicate and respond to coworkers and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devicesMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work from heights above 4ftRequires work in outdoor conditions, including all weather conditions & unairconditioned facilityRequires work on loud environmentRequires moving and maintaining self constantly in different positions, stoop, kneel, crouch to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spacesMust wear all required PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, fall protection as applicable.Position rarely requires travelPosition rarely requires employee drive About Us:Transforming Energy for a Sustainable Future.
