The Quality Assurance Technician inspects completed products for conformance to specifications by performing the following duties.EDUCATION* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Three to Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecialist areas of experience preferred:* Microsoft Office Suite* Inventory or warehouse information technology management systems* Experience with standard practices of barcoded inventory processes and production inventory management of consumption and movementCOMPETENCIES* Technical Capacity* Organizational Skills* Problem Solving/Analytical* Time Management* InitiativeWORK RELATIONSHIPSINTERNAL* Receiving* Quality* Purchasing* ProductionEXTERNAL* Vendors* SuppliersWORK ENVIRONMENT* While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving equipment.* The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.PHYSICAL DEMANDS* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
