This position is first shift Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed. Production Associate/Technician is accountable for assisting the manufacturing process which includes filling drums, labeling products, and may include the use of a forklift.Principal Duties and Responsibilities-Drumming of Materials and Dispensing of Product:Ensure a consistent and quality product of material producedProcedures must be followed including exact quantities produced and dispensed.Proper labelling of drums / totesProper dispensing of finished goods products into 55 gallon drumsProper palletizing and banding of drumsFollow loading instructions Proper labeling of all products with production information and dateUse of hand tools including a drum torque wrenchAutonomously drive the process to ensure production and quality targets are met on a daily basisDetailed organization through reading instruments and accurately recording readingsReceived adequate training and fully understand manufacturing proceduresAt times re-labeling of incoming material will be requiredAssisting with quarterly Inventory countMust complete safety and all other trainings as assigned All other duties as assigned by Leadership SKILLS AND ABILITIESThe employee should hold the following abilities:Must be able to comply with all safety/work/procedures, rules and regulationsMust complete safety and all other trainings as assigned Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must have to ability to do basic mathematical calculationsMust have the ability to multi-taskMust work well in team environment and work independentlyMust be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEThe employee should have the following:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required1 years of manufacturing experience or related experience and/or training in an industrial environmentPreferred: 1 year forklift operating experience Must be 18 years or olderMust be a US citizen or have the right to work in the USMust be drug and alcohol freeESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position requires:Standing for prolonged periods of time, over 8 hours if requiredWork overtime, as neededNearest Major Market: Chicago
