Working in close partnership with Sales Representatives, Underwriting, and Home Office teams, this role ensures a consistent and positive client experience throughout the lifecycle of an account.The Account Manager builds strong relationships with assigned clients, brokers, and internal partners by providing timely communication, expert guidance, and thoughtful problem-solving. A strong understanding of internal processes, renewal workflows, stop loss contracts, and product features is essential to effectively support clients and business partners. This role also plays a key part in onboarding new clients and ensuring smooth implementation of sold business.What you will doServe as the primary service contact for assigned accounts, delivering proactive and responsive account management through scheduled calls, emails, conference calls, and webinarsManage day-to-day service needs, including monitoring claim reporting requirements, premium remittances, and ensuring accurate and timely uploads into the Employer Excess Loss platformRespond to client and broker inquiries with accuracy and professionalism, anticipating potential issues and addressing concerns to ensure positive outcomesLead and coordinate the renewal process in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers, Underwriting, and broker partners, with a focus on retention and long-term client satisfactionGuide new clients through onboarding and account installation from point of sale through contract delivery, including orientation and demonstrations of the Group Online (GO) portal and other value-added programsPartner closely with the RFP Analyst team to ensure a smooth, consistent experience during the quoting process for internal and external stakeholdersAct as a resource and mentor to RFP Analysts by sharing broker knowledge, account insights, and best practices for building strong client relationshipsCollaborate with internal teams on special projects and service-related initiatives, including process improvements and post-implementation reviewsWhy work at Symetra"Symetra is truly a great place to work.
