Traveling SuperintendentCommercial Construction Large‐Scale ProjectsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee large‐scale commercial projects across the Southwest. This role requires a hands‐on leader with strong field management skills, deep knowledge of commercial construction operations, and the ability to drive projects to completion safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‐paced environment, excels at coordinating subcontractors, and maintains exceptional quality standards while traveling to multiple project sites.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day‐to‐day field operations for large commercial construction projects ranging from ground‐up builds to major renovationsManage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure productivity, quality, and safetyMaintain project schedules, track progress, and proactively resolve delays or conflictsConduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and quality inspectionsInterpret and enforce construction plans, specifications, and contract documentsCollaborate closely with Project Managers to monitor budgets, change orders, and material procurementEnsure compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standardsPrepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and documentation through project management softwareServe as the on‐site company representative, maintaining strong communication with clients, inspectors, and stakeholdersTravel throughout the Midwest region as project needs dictateQualifications5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial constructionProven background managing large‐scale commercial projects (retail, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, office, or similar)Strong understanding of all construction trades, sequencing, and field coordinationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentsProficient with construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‐solving skillsWillingness to travel extensively throughout the MidwestOSHA 30 certification preferredWhy Join UsOpportunity to lead high‐visibility, multi‐million‐dollar projectsCompetitive compensation and travel packageStrong company culture focused on safety, teamwork, and professional growth
