These responsibilities/functions may include but are not limited to the following:Prepares the project schedule and provides updates regularly, maintains reports accurately describing project statusResponsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projectsReviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basisAnalyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendentDirects subcontractor activities within commercial fit-outs for interior projectsMaintain and verify LEED requirementsImplements and enforces policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by field construction managementPrepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activitiesEnsures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safelyRequired Competencies/Skills:Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskExceptional attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 60 lbsConstruction jobsite experience5 years supervisory experienceExperience with email and ability to learn company-specific programs and softwareConstruction background requiredSubmissions from third-party recruiters will not be considered and will be treated as direct applicants.
