The React Developer will assess technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.Position Description: This React Developer position is in the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA). The React Developer will develop a new application for the agency. CFSA is looking for a subject matter expert in React. The SME will be a DevOps team member implementing a new comprehensive child welfare information system (CCWIS). As a React Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions using React. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, creating, modifying, and troubleshooting.Deep knowledge (4 years) of React is required, with at least two years working with Next.js and Node.js. Knowledge of Typescript and cloud hosting, such as Azure or AWS, is also desired.SkillsThe ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team of consultants to provide these services and will have the following skills/capabilities: Interact with clients to understand complex business requirements Create functional requirements and design for customizations Accurately estimate the level of effort for implementation tasks Review the developer-proposed implementation and identify efficient designs Work with Delivery architects, Technical Leads, and developers to ensure access and security profiles meet the agency's needs, including verifying that the policies/restrictions are in place Collaborate with Delivery architects, Technical Leads, and developers to perform code reviews Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills Education And Professional Qualifications4+ years’ experience implementing, developing, supporting, and maintaining React applications Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills At least 2 years of experience in Next.js (Required) Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of personnel Strong client-service orientation and focus Thorough attention to detail and a strong desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to CFSAs Experience across a variety of industries Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience Other InformationThe candidate must be able to participate in meetings from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time zone.
