Description Seeking multiple employees with various specializations, hours and responsibilities. Job Summary Attends to children ages 2 years old to 5th grade at our childcare institution (will be specialized into working with pre-school, K-5th or 6th-8th grade students). Drives 14 passenger van to pick up/drop off school aged children. General Accountabilities Creates developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Reads to children and teaches them painting, drawing, crafts and songs. Maintains a safe play environment. Observes and monitors children’s play activities. Disciplines children and recommends or initiates other measures to control behavior, such as caring for own clothing, and picking up toys and books. Communicates with children’s parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues. Sanitizes toys and play equipment. Performs general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and making phone calls. Organizes and participates in recreational activities and outings, such as field trips. Job Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Instructing Monitoring Social perceptiveness Service orientation Salary $12.41 - $13 per hour
