Cable Installer Technician - L1

Key ResponsibilitiesPull, route, and dress copper/fiber cables in trays and cabinets following defined routes and workmanship standards. Assist with termination and enclosure work as assigned; maintain bend radius and proper slack storage. Apply labels per instructions and participate in self-checks/peer checks to confirm correctness before the test.Support test teams by preparing links (cleaning connectors, verifying endpoints) and performing remediation tasks as directed. Maintain tool control, housekeeping, and safe work practices on ladders/lifts and in congested work areas. Required Skills And KnowledgePractical installation knowledge for copper and fiber in data hall environments; ability to follow standards and work packages. Ability to use common installation tools and understand basic cable identification and cable route practices. Good attention to detail for labeling, dressing, and avoiding damage to cables/connectors. Team-oriented communication and readiness to escalate issues early. Certifications / TrainingPreferred: Entry BICSI/FOA training or equivalent on-the-job experience.
