This full-time, direct-hire position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade data pipelines and analytics platforms within a cloud-forward environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by building scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions primarily utilizing the Azure ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to deliver impactful insights and drive innovation. This role demands a strategic thinker with extensive experience in cloud-based data engineering, a passion for transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics.At least 7 years of expertise in implementing data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Scala for both batch and streaming ETL workloads.Over 5 years of strong experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure-based data engineering solutions.Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and JSON for data integration and service communication.At least 3 years of experience with Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Databricks.Proficiency with build and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins within Agile and DevOps environments.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.Preferred qualifications include industry certifications in Azure, GCP, or AWS, experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C/C++. Prior experience in banking or financial services domains and knowledge of Collibra for data lineage and quality management are advantageous.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for batch and streaming workloads utilizing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other tools.Implement and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Delta Lake with Medallion Architecture and Unity Catalog.Create and maintain robust data models, schemas, and dictionaries to facilitate efficient data retrieval and reporting.Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across pipelines, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.Collaborate with data governance teams to implement data lineage and quality frameworks, leveraging tools like Collibra.Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.Develop and implement data transformations and modeling within Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives.Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data solutions, pipelines, and reporting frameworks.Utilize Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins for CI/CD automation, ensuring smooth deployment and integration processes.Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives using Jira and Confluence.Stay updated on industry trends and proactively recommend enhancements to data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.BenefitsINSPYR Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ well-being and professional growth.
