Project Controls SpecialistConshohocken, PAContract-to-Hire OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Project Controls Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Conshohocken, PA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in project scheduling, cost controls, forecasting, and reporting within engineering and construction environments. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting successful project execution by ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Lead project controls processes alongside the internal project management teamEnsure proper project setup within Enterprise Planning & Controls softwareAnalyze project data, review logs, and generate reportsCreate and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)Develop and maintain project schedules, cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow reportsSupport engineering, procurement, and construction planning activitiesMonitor and maintain project schedules including logic ties and resource loadingConduct schedule analysis, critical path evaluations, and what-if scenario assessmentsDevelop and maintain earned value management systems and progress curvesReview project costs, contingency tracking, purchase orders, and subcontract codingCollaborate with Project Management and Accounting teams on forecasting and auditsSupport Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM)Perform quality checks, field audits, and inspections on project controls deliverablesAssist with project forensic analysis as neededEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standardsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredEquivalent applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degreeMinimum 3 years of direct project controls experienceExperience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferredStrong understanding of scheduling, forecasting, cost control, and earned value managementProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtainAspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS ~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
