The ideal candidate will have experience leading projects within industrial and commercial environments. This position is in our Alpharetta, GA office location, and does include relocation assistance. Role and Responsibilities A Sr. Project Engineer is responsible for (1) sales support and proposal development, (2) conducting consulting engagements such as energy assessments, (3) project development activities from concept development through detailed design engineering, and (4) project construction oversight and management. A Sr. Project Engineer manages all phases of a project and has client communication responsibilities. They will oversee each project’s conception, design, and specification; and manage scheduling, estimating and procuring of equipment and materials. They are responsible to track project progress and keep costs in control. The Sr. Project Engineer also provides engineering guidance to other projects, helps to train new engineers and keeps abreast of industry trends and issues.The role will include:Business Travel to & from customer sites, 25-50% of the time is typical. Provide technical guidance to the Sales & Marketing team for new and existing Client opportunities and support Client presentations. Manage projects using both engineering and administrative skills.Responsible for financial management and timely completion of projects.Perform site surveys and data collection on client sites to develop new projects.Perform engineering analysis of opportunities for improvements that meet customer financial and infrastructure needs.Perform feasibility studies for various types of sustainability projects.Develop investment grade costing of identified projects. Perform design engineering & manage implementation of efficiency projects.Management and allocation of both internal and external resources and subcontractors to complete projects and meet deadlines.Education· BS Engineering (Mechanical is preferred; Chemical or Electrical considered)· MS in Engineering Degree a plusQualifications· PE License, CEM, and/or LEED AP a plus· Motivated and dynamic person · Ability to work independently and in a team · Good inter-personal skills · Experienced individual, with engineering experience in: o Industrial utility systems (e.g. boilers, chillers, pumping systems, compressed air, HVAC, industrial refrigeration, etc.) o Other design experience a plus· Experienced in researching and obtaining available utility rebates & incentives for efficiency projectsE4E Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
