Field Service Engineer IV
Job Description:Perform Battery Cabinet (BC) installation, start-up and conditioning, commissioning, debug and testing, as required at client locationsTroubleshoot and failure analyze product issues via email, phone, or travel to customer sitesWork with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Production to promptly and efficiently resolve product issues and satisfy customer expectations and requirementsGenerate, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the departmentTechnical documentation of necessary processes and proceduresProvide exceptional technical service and support to internal and external customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfactionConduct training and refreshers on Battery Cabinet (BC) Systems to Service and Support personnel, customers, and 3rd party service providersTravel as needed (up to 75%) within in the U.S. and internationallyRequirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, electro-chemistry, or equivalent experience in related fieldMinimum of 3 years' experience with Battery/Battery Management System and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) in the Data Center MarketMinimum of 3 years' experience working with and around high voltage equipment in indoor/outdoor industrial environmentsSoftware/Firmware testing/programming experienceDeep knowledge of electrical/electronic schematics and understanding mechanical designsExperience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, AC/DC power analyzers, digital multimeters, electrical/electronic loadsAbility and experience providing customer-facing support while remaining professional and calm in high stress situationsExperience traveling and managing travel expenses and scheduleExperience training technicians, external customers, and 3rd party service providersExperience with Data Center network and communication systemsDemonstrate teamwork, dependability, high integrity, and a solid work ethicAbility to learn and adapt quicklyAbility to work independently with minimal supervision onsite and in the fieldExcellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, Visio, SAP, or other ERP programsBenefits:medicaldentalvisionlife insurance401kpaid sick timepaid time off for vacationpaid holidayspaid community service daysprofessional/personal learning programapplicable state/federal paid family leave
