Provides informationregarding hospital billing practices, policies, and patient billingstatements. Responsible for receiving cash payments, issuing receipts,and posting cash payment data.**Requirements**Education:** High School diploma or equivalent.Experience:** Two (2) years experience in a healthcare environment,particularly in healthcare billing, collections, or payment processingpreferred.One (1) year experience in accounting or handling cash and/or cashreconciliation in a healthcare facility or hospital preferred.Specific Skills:** Good verbal and written, communicate effectivelyFamiliarity with medical billing/collections and healthcare insuranceExperience With Analyzing Explanation Of Benefits (EOBs) From Variousinsurance companiesBasic knowledge of insurance processing technologyStrong attention to detail, interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to comply with procedural guidelines and maintainconfidentialityExcellent organizational and time management skillsComputer Skills:** Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointDemonstrate proficiency with relevant hospital software applications,along with standard office equipment and PC softwareLicenses:** CRCS certification within one year of hire date.
