As a Forklift Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse and to their proper locations.Textron Specialized Vehicles is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility vehicles, and personal transportation vehicles.What We Offer* $15.00 per hour* 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM* 2nd shift, 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM* Health benefits, including telehealth medical services* Opportunity for full-time, direct hire* Referral programWhat We're Looking For* High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution* Previous experience as a forklift operator* Experience using RFT scanners required* Must be comfortable working at heights* Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment that requires 10-12 hour shifts while standing most of the time* Ability to lift up to 35lbs. when performing job tasks* Ability to work weekends and overtime as neededWhat You'll Do as a Forklift Operator* Operate a stand-up Manlift forklift, elevating up to 30-40 feet to perform tasks safely and efficiently* Distribute and issue products throughout production areas* Manage warehouse inventory* Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage areas* Perform inspections on equipment prior to and following operational use* Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)* Clean and maintain work station and follow all safety and company policies* Keep track of parts and materials and refill bins needed to perform duties* Operate material handling equipment such as clamp trucks and cherry pickers* Perform other tasks as assigned
