The institute's philosophy is rooted in prioritizing the needs and interests of patients to ensure exceptional care and outcomes.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Physicians Assistant, Surgical First Assist, located in Dallas, TX. The Physicians Assistant will collaborate closely with the spine surgeon and the healthcare team to deliver top-quality care. Responsibilities include patient assessments, assisting in surgical procedures, developing treatment plans, assisting on all surgical cases, post-operative care, prescribing medications, rounding, and conducting follow-ups. The role requires excellent communication with patients and families and working in compliance with medical regulations while maintaining the institute's high standard of patient care.QualificationsExperience in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing post-operative careProficiency in assisting with surgical procedures, including pre-operative and follow-up responsibilitiesStrong communication skills for patient education and coordination with medical staffKnowledge of medical regulations, charting, and clinical practices in a surgical or orthopedic settingCapability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environmentCertified Physician Assistant credential (PA-C) with an active and unencumbered Texas state licensePrior experience in orthopedics or spine care preferred
