Receptionist (Temp-to-Hire)

Our client, a financial services firm in Downtown Chicago, is searching for a Temp-to-Hire Receptionist. The ideal candidate is polished, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service to clients, visitors, and internal team members. It begins at a $20-25/hour and shifts to $50,000-$55,000 once permanent.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day activities of the office and serve as the main point of contact in the front desk area.Manage daily office communications including phone calls, emails, and physical mail, forwarding/distributing when necessaryEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary materialsProvide team with administrative support and assistance with assembling meeting materials, booking room reservations, and anticipating meeting needsMaintain up-to-date desk procedures and visitor logsBe flexible and can work overtime if necessaryRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree required1+ years of corporate office experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSuperior customer service mindset and polished professional demeanorStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask independently
