Job Title: Medical/ X-ray Field Engineer Job Type: Full-time direct hire Job Location: Suwanee, GA (Onsite) Work Authorisation: US Citizen/GC Only local or local to GA state Top skill: Experience Or Knowledge of X-ray systems Job Description Client is a leading designer and manufacturer of Superficial Orthovoltage Medical X-ray Systems used in treatment of cancers and dermatological disorders, as well as a pioneer in the development of advanced X-ray systems for pre-clinical radiation biology research. Client has manufacturing facilities in the UK and USA and operates globally through its international network of distributors. We are looking for an organized and technically strong individual who will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, and breakdown/corrective maintenance for Client therapy and life science systems. The individual will work from the US office and will provide the interface between the customer and Client. At all times, they must represent the values of Client Ltd, acting within the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System. Required Skills And Education · The engineer must be able to communicate clearly and confidently, the technical aspects of their work to physicists, scientists, and medical specialists. This will naturally require good verbal and written communication that is both clear and accurate. · Strong written and verbal English language skills · Associate degree or higher required. · Good level of IT skills, with experience of working with proprietary software as well as Windows OS and Office applications · Proven experience in a service environment · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in communicating technical issues clearly and to the appropriate level of detail. · Clean Driving License · Must be self-motivated, able to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team. · Excellent presentation skills due to the nature of working on customer sites as the face of the Client. Knowledge & Experience · Field service experience · Experience Or Knowledge of X-ray systems · Electrical and electronic diagnostic skills · Mechanical assembly · Experience in installing software. · Experience in installing and commissioning complex electromechanical systems. The ability to speak multiple languages would be an advantage.
