Field Service Technician

Field service technician These technicians are responsible for completing service tickets in a designated territory. Preferred candidate background experience includes Plumbing, Pipe Replacement, Toilet/Urinal Installation, Soldering, General Maintenance, HVAC, Framing, Drywall Patching, Painting, Flooring Installation, Tile Work, Doors & Frames, Experience with a Multimeter, Etc. These are effectively general maintenance positions, but the expectation is that candidates have a broad set of skillsets. Candidates need to have proficient computer (Microsoft 360) and mobile phone skills (Preferably iOS and Android). Technician Pay: $24-28/hr ($50,000-$58,000) Schedule: Normal service availability hours are 7:00am-6:00pm, before or after that is paid out at a 20% premium. There is rotational on-call. Vehicle: ARM does not provide work trucks -- they do provide $0.50/mile reimbursement. Candidates need to have their own reliable form of transportation. Uniforms: ARM provides polos & a work badge -- candidates must supply work shoes & pants. Tools: Technicians supply their own work tools (Wall/Car Charger, Hammer, Tape Measure, Screw Drivers) with a few exceptions. Certifications: None Required Job Responsibilities: Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated. Carry out assigned tasks and work orders with minimum direct supervision. Communicate with the office team and FOMs on open issues and progress of work assigned to oneself Successful execution of assigned programs/work orders as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area. Effectively document and communicate work required and executed out in the field. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including “on-call” availability.
