In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. This is a hybrid US location flexible role. You will work in a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products. You will perform all aspects of architecture and design and independently apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline. You will also develop designs that require innovation and ingenuity, be expected to perform work with little to no supervision, review the work of the discipline team for adequacy on completion, and provide technical guidance to drafters/designers and engineers.Key Responsibilities:Collaborating with a team of designers and engineers as Architect/Architectural Lead, you'll help us engage with clients and subcontractors, designing some of the world's most advanced data center facilitiesYour multi-discipline, highly interactive team will work together to deliver construction documentsPlan and conduct work requiring judgment and evaluation, selection, and adaptation of architectural techniques and criteriaExhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality controlPerform calculation checking of others' workCollaborate with other designers and engineers in the development of layout, technical design, construction drawings, specification, and model creationAttend project meetings and take an active role in helping the team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplinesParticipate in and champion internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviewsSupport field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walksPerform technical and business presentations with clients and employeesPerform quality reviews on designs performed by othersParticipate in developing proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.Primary Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural programProfessional Architectural License and be able to be licensed in multiple statesAt least 8 years of professional Architectural Design experienceExpert-level proficiency with REVIT, Bluebeam, Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of building codes and applicability to industrial facilitiesUnderstanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedulesAbility to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teamsHave previous project management experienceClean driving recordPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in ArchitectureExperience with designing data centers and industrial manufacturing facilitiesIn order to be considered for this role, you must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
