Upper School Student Support Coordinator

Ramaz School - The Student Support Coordinator will work closely with the Director of the Learning Center to provide support to Upper School students with learning disabilities. This role involves facilitating IESP meetings, maintaining student records, assisting in the development of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), and coordinating standardized testing accommodations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Department of Education (DOE) procedures and knowledge about submitting documentation to the college board for SAT/ ACT/ AP exams.Key Responsibilities:IESP Meetings: Facilitate and coordinate IESP meetings, collaborating with students, faculty, families, and support staff.Student Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all Learning Center students, including academic performance and accommodations.ILP Development: Assist in writing and implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) tailored to students' needs.Compliance: Stay informed about DOE guidelines and best practices to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.Manage all Accommodation requests for Standardized testing and communicate appropriately with the college board.Coordinate and Manage the AP program including student registration, proctoring, accommodations and setup/structure of the AP test taking.Support: Meet with and support students who come to the Learning Center.Help with proctoring, scribing, and serve as extra support in the LCTeach one class in the Upper School as part of role.Qualifications:Education: Master's degree in Learning Disabilities, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).Experience: Extensive experience working with DOE procedures and supporting students with learning disabilities. Preferred area of expertise is in Math and Science support.Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to advocate for students and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 commensurate with relevant experience and education.
