Book Maker (Second Shift)

Quantum Fulfillment Services is a book printer and publisher in the West Windsor area. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. Quantum is an equal opportunity employer with advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembly line production, with a focus on manufacturing and fabrication. The Bindery Operator is responsible for operating the production equipment including binders, trimmers, and case-in equipment to achieve shift production volume and meet defined safety and quality standards. * The shift is 4pm-2:30am 4 days/week including weekends * Responsibilities: - Assemble and bind books, following detailed instructions and adhering to quality control standards. - Operate and maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and minimizing downtime. - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to prevent malfunctions and optimize production efficiency. - Maintain proper storage areas for materials and product inventory in warehouse - Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and improve processes. - Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: - Experience working in a manufacturing facility - Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting production targets. - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification is a plus. - Strong English skills are a must This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment, utilizing your skills to contribute to the production of high-quality products.
