Interventional Radiology TechnicianOpenings: 2 Contractor Onsite Location: Hartford, CT 06105 Shift Timing: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM Hours/Week: 40 Hours Call Requirement: Weekends CALL ONLY Every Other Weekend (EOW)Certifications Required:ASRT CertificationConnecticut DPH License (Active & Valid)BLS Experience Required: Minimum 2 YearsJob ResponsibilitiesPrepare Interventional Radiology exam rooms and ensure clinical readiness.Administer radiopharmaceuticals to produce clear, diagnostic-quality imaging.Position patients and imaging equipment accurately while ensuring comfort & safety.Enter scan parameters, commands, and data into imaging systems; adjust density/contrast as required.Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring radiation safety and clinical protocols.Produce high-quality diagnostic images; communicate critical findings to physicians.Maintain accurate and updated documentation in patient medical records.Organize daily procedure schedules, prioritize emergency imaging needs, and maintain supply inventory.Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, technical support, and pre-procedure patient guidance.Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with urgent troubleshooting or repairs.
