Qualified candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience. This is a position's primary location will be our office in the Aurora Medical Center with additionally working a couple of days a month in our Highland Ranch Office as needed. The work week is Monday-Friday, with flexible schedule options available, including the option for a 4 day work week.We offer excellent benefits, generous paid time off plan and highly competitive pay, starting at $23 - $25 per hour commensurate with experience. Bi-lingual pay may be offered. Employment is contingenton successful completion of pre-employment screening and background check. The position will remain posted until filled.Responsibilities And DutiesGreet patients and perform Check-in and Check-out procedures in an accurate and timely mannerRoom patients, process urine specimens, and take vitalsProcess patient payments and perform billing payment entryPrepare payment batches and maintain accurate office money and cash transactions Schedule patient appointmentsPerform medication, test and procedure authorizationsDistribute notes and information to outside providers/entities when neededPrepare for patient office visits and prepare lab work in patient chartsMaintain appointment waitlist and schedule waitlist appointments whenever possibleScan and attach patient medical records and administrative documents in EMRUtilize and maintain office communication through Outlook, calendars and task reminderReview and process incoming faxes, and flow labs that are not electronically sentMake patient reminder calls for lab work two weeks prior to patient appointmentsCross coverage of other duties as needed & other duties as assignedRequired Experience Essential Skills and Experience:Completion of a certified Medical Assistant education program and have a minimum of two years of relevant MA experienceHigh school diploma or GEDProfessionalism in appearance, behavior, and communicationExpected to communicate in a precise and clear manner, verbally and in writingWorks with others in a cooperative and supportive mannerDisplays patience and compassion in all patient interactionsAbility to effectively multitask in a fast paced environmentPossess an intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to navigate the internet proficientlyProficient with general math skillsExpected to function at a high level of efficiency without constant supervision and also work as part of a teamPossess a valid driver's license with a good MVRBenefits We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits including: Medical, dental, vision and life insurance401K PlanHoliday pay and generous paid time-off planEducation BenefitKeyword: Medical Assistant - Medical Office Coordinator
