VP/Principal Investments (Real Estate)
Our client is large well-funded Private Equity/Real Estate Fund with over a 20 year track record or responsible investing. Currently seeking to add a VP/Director of Real Estate Investments, select individual will be responsible for acquisitions/investment, for the Firms' $100B investment portfolio.Core Strategies include but not limited to: Office, Industrial/Data Centers, Healthcare/Medical, and Commercial assets.The role will ensure that real estate initiatives support the company's business objectives, operational efficiency and financial performanceVice President/Director of Acquisitions will report to the Managing Director, Acquisitions and will work closely with both internal and external partners to build the firms' brand and manage the full life-cycle acquisitions process from sourcing to closing while performing strong analytical and due diligence responsibilitiesDirect the analysis of target markets, identify market trends, and translate these insights into actionable investment strategiesDevelop and execute strategies with intent to enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitionsManage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their successCollaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needsRequirements7+ years of professional experience with commercial Real EstateTop Academic pedigree requiredCFA/MBA strongly preferredProven track record of managing/mentoring and developing young AnalystsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skillsHigh interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trendsExceptional client-facing skills and service orientationStrong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
