Technical Account Manager – Enterprise Data, AI & CloudLocation: On-site in our Downtown Tampa OfficeRole OverviewThe Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for owning and expanding enterprise and mid-market client relationships across the Data, AI, and Cloud technology ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise account management, technical advisory, and delivery leadership.The TAM acts as a trusted partner to client stakeholders, translating complex technical hiring needs into effective talent solutions while driving sustained account growth and revenue performance.Success in this role requires a senior staffing professional who can combine technical market credibility, enterprise relationship management, and strong commercial performance to grow strategic accounts and deliver high-value technical talent.This role owns client relationships, revenue performance, and account growth for assigned accounts and newly developed business.Revenue & Performance ExpectationsAnnual Gross Profit Target: $1.2M – $1.8M GPExpected Account Portfolio: $3M – $5M in managed or developed client accountsAccount Development Requirement: Demonstrated ability to build and scale accounts from $0 to $2M+ annual revenueDeal Mix: Contract staffing, contract-to-hire, and permanent placements across technical rolesDelivery Model: Partner with internal recruiting teams to execute high-volume and specialized technical hiringFull ownership of account strategy, client engagement, and revenue outcomes within assigned portfolioKey ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Account OwnershipOwn and manage relationships with enterprise and mid-market clients hiring within Data, AI, and Cloud technology environmentsDevelop long-term partnerships with hiring managers, directors, and executive stakeholdersServe as the primary client contact for technical hiring strategy and delivery executionAccount Growth & Revenue DevelopmentIdentify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing client organizationsBuild strategic hiring partnerships that generate recurring revenue streamsSuccessfully scale new client relationships from initial engagement to $2M+ annual revenue accountsMaintain strong pipeline visibility and forecast revenue performance against annual GP targetsTechnical Market AdvisoryProvide consultative guidance on technical hiring strategies across the modern data stackAdvise clients on compensation trends, market availability, and hiring timelines for specialized technical talentMaintain fluency across Data Engineering, AI/ML, Cloud Architecture, and modern data platform rolesDelivery LeadershipPartner with internal recruiting teams to ensure consistent delivery quality across assigned accountsLead role intake discussions and technical requirement calibration with client stakeholdersEnsure candidate pipelines align with client expectations for technical capability and experienceMarket ExpertiseMaintain strong understanding of the modern data and cloud technology landscape including platforms such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, and SnowflakeStay current on emerging skill sets across Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Analytics Engineering, and Cloud InfrastructureRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in technical staffing, talent solutions, or enterprise recruiting environmentsProven success managing enterprise client relationships within technical hiring environmentsDemonstrated experience supporting roles across Data, AI, Cloud, or modern data platform ecosystemsProven experience filling Engineering, Architecture, and Senior IT Leadership roles within enterprise technology environmentsTrack record of building and scaling client accounts from $0 to at least $2M in annual revenueStrong commercial mindset with experience meeting or exceeding individual GP or revenue targetsAbility to operate as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholdersPreferred ExperienceExperience working with enterprise consulting firms, system integrators, or technology partners within the data ecosystemFamiliarity with hiring across modern data platform roles including:Data EngineersMachine Learning EngineersCloud ArchitectsAnalytics EngineersData Platform EngineersTechnical Directors and Senior IT Leadership rolesKey Success MetricsAnnual GP performance against $1.2M–$1.8M revenue targetGrowth and expansion of enterprise client accountsSuccessful development of $2M+ revenue accountsClient satisfaction and retentionConsistent delivery of high-quality technical placementsCompensation Range:$100,000-$120,000 base salary + commission*Base salary is dependent on experience and tenure.
