OverviewBoden Talent is partnering with our client to appoint a Senior Account Director to lead a high-value, single-customer facilities management account.This is a senior leadership position with full operational and commercial responsibility for delivering integrated hard and soft FM services. The successful candidate will act as the single point of contact for the client, ensuring financial and contractual commitments are consistently met while driving service excellence, innovation, and long-term account growth.The RoleThe Senior Account Director will lead all aspects of account performance, including operations, people management, financial control, governance, and strategic development. You will build strong client relationships at multiple levels and ensure a best-in-class service model is delivered across the portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Client LeadershipProvide strategic leadership and direction to the account team to ensure all contractual commitments are achieved and exceededAct as the single point of contact for all operational and compliance mattersOversee all service lines including preventative and reactive maintenance, vendor services, helpdesk operations, soft services (where applicable), and additional project worksIdentify and deliver organic growth opportunities through extra works and project deliveryDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, leading monthly, quarterly, and annual reviewsImplement robust governance, audit, and compliance frameworksEnsure optimal staffing structures that balance cost efficiency with service excellenceCommunicate effectively with stakeholders regarding site performance, audits, work order progress, and emergency preparedness plansDeliver high-quality reporting, financial summaries, and strategic recommendationsDrive innovation and continuous improvement across the accountSupport business development activities including solution development and client presentationsPeople LeadershipLead, coach, and develop high-performing teams across the accountDrive employee engagement and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvementEnsure effective performance management and succession planningOversee workforce planning to support workload fluctuations and contractual commitmentsLead key hiring decisions and ensure appropriate training and development plans are in placeFinance & CommercialFull P&L responsibility for the accountDevelop and manage financial plans covering revenue, profit, WIP, debt, cost control, and growthEnsure effective commercial governance and financial accuracy across all activitiesOversee supply chain management, including supplier performance reviews and negotiationsReview purchase orders to ensure contractual and financial complianceDrive sustainable organic growth by maximizing additional scope and project opportunitiesQHSE & ComplianceEnsure a safe and compliant working environment across all sitesImplement and maintain health and safety standards across all service linesDevelop and oversee environmental health, safety, and emergency response proceduresConduct periodic quality assurance inspectionsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsLeadership ScopeDirect supervision of operational staff including Engineers, Technicians, and Contract SupportAccountable for recruitment, performance reviews, workforce planning, and staff developmentLead by example, modelling high standards of professionalism and leadershipAbout YouWe are seeking an experienced facilities management leader with strong commercial acumen and proven experience managing complex, multi-site accounts.Experience & QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred8+ years’ relevant experience in facilities management or account leadershipDemonstrated experience managing a P&LExperience within a matrixed or multi-site operational environmentMust be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipSkills & CompetenciesStrong financial and commercial acumenAdvanced analytical and strategic problem-solving abilityExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to present complex information clearly and persuasivelyProven leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teamsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Reporting LineReports to: Business Unit DirectorKey internal partnerships include Finance & Operations Support Manager and Business Operations Manager.
